Fury vs Angels with Attitude - October 30, 2010

Blair's soccer team the Fury played "Angels with Attitude" on October 30th at The Mustang Tri Valley Field in Danville.  The field is actually located in a park known as "Snake Park, " i have never known why it was called that until now...

Blair's team was defeated 5-0 in a game that was much closer than the score indicated.  Blair played goalie in the first half and allowed two goals but also had several spectacular saves

In the second half, Blair played Center Forward and was very agressive, taking out several members of the other team with sliding tackles.



Blair was very happy to play against her good friend Lindzy, they encountered each other several times on the playing field...

Kids get Flu Shots - October 26, 2010

Both Blair and Chris had their very first flu shot because their Mom felt that kids carry alot of diseases and are exposed to filthy children at school.  There were mixed feelings upon arriving at the doctors office...

Originally, i wanted a photo taken of the actual shot being administered but i was given some sort of nonsense about it being "illegal."  Nonetheless, the shots were given without incident albeit there were not alot of happy faces afterwards...



But then that was before both children were bribed with Baskin Robbins...

Funny how that works.  Both kids now look forward to an uneventful flu season.

Chris baseball, October 24, 2010

Chris was supposed to play a double header today at Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward against the Moreau Mariners.

Unfortunately, it was raining so badly that they were only able to get in a single game.  The field is located next to a cemetary, which meant when a foul ball was hit straight back, it truly was a "dead ball."

Sister Blair even made an appearance, and refused to seek shelter in the dugout to avoid getting wet.

Team APS lost 4-2 with Chris going 1-1 with a single, walk, and he was hit by a pitch two times in his bony ass.  He played 3rd base and 1st base.  Unfortunately, there was no photos of the action since the photographer had a low tolerance to getting wet.  Thus, this is the only proof he was actually there:

Fury vs Ladybugs - October 23, 2010

Blair's team the Fury played the Ladybugs at Osage Park on October 23, 2010.

 

She played left inside defense for the whole game.

Unfortunately the Fury lost 5-0.

The game was marred by an incident where Blair was knocked down by a player on the other team.  As a concerned father, i asked her if she was ok.  The referee, a grown man with short pants and knee socks who wore a shirt that made him look like an overweight bumble bee, screamed at me "NO PARENT COACHING!"  This is what the pinhead who yelled at me looked like.

Lastly, this is a photo of Blairs coach.  Would you allow this man to be around your daughter?

Uh huh.  That's what i thought you would say.  I couldn't agree more.
